[MC-5929] Cannot Drop Items in Creative Mode

Cannot 'click' items out Creative mode's survival inventory screen and have them drop on the floor, they instead are deleted.
Tested in 1.4.6 and the you could drop items just fine, only happens in 13w01a

I noticed this a week or two back, although it didn't appear to always happen. Sometimes, I can still throw items down. Other times they get deleted. This could be intended, but deleting whatever item you're trying to drop doesn't seem like a good idea considering all the different things we can do to items alone now (enchanting, naming, etc.). I assume it's a bug, then.

Confirmed, it happens when you have the "survival inventory" tab in creative mode. Looking for a fix.
