You're right, but a lot of "bugs" aren't bugs.
1 Rabbit don't recieve fall damage because they are rabbits.
2 First, they need to be tame, and then you can breed them.
And others...

They need to be faced to EAST/WEST, to be activated and to be on a block up-down.

I'm seeing the same thing in 14w27b. Visual glitch only, doesn't affect travel.

[Sorry for off Topic] Hey Liviu,
I roported the bug yours is a "dduplicate" of... Pribably mine is now the "main" thread because I was more accurate... I searched for "powered rail rendering" and nothing appeared, so I thought it wasn't reported yet... A powered rail bug might be anything... And out of this, this ticket-system is not to make a race who finds the bug first, its a portal to report bugs to make MineCraft better. So don't care about this to much... Weve reached our aim, make Minecraft a little bit better by reporting bugs!!! Thats what counts!
