When you get pushed into a block (ex by a piston) you get forced out of F5 mode. I don't know if this is supposed to happen or not.

Recreation:
Go into F5
Force your head into a block
You are now out of F5

Environment

Windows 7 Ultimate SP1
Java 1.7.0_60
