Repeater torches going wrong way

When placed, repeater's torches are rendered as if it is set on a 4 tick delay, and when right clicked it acts as if the delay is shortened,
But what actually happens is that when the torch is in the back, the delay is at 4 ticks, and when you move it to the front, it rises 1 tick per click.
