Usually desert villages are made up of sandstone, but the ones generating in desert biome are made out of the same material as normal villages. Also it seems certain blocks are generating with incorrect metadata (slabs, logs) in all villages.

The seed is 7156754079693036187 on a super flat desert preset. The coordinates are provided in image 2014-07-07_11.26.43.png. This bug has also occurred in a survival world as well.
