[MC-60982] Rabbits don't spawn regularly in old worlds.

I really don't know if this is an issue or not, but rabbits don't seem to spawn everywhere in old worlds. I know that the only way I can find a rabbit is that I have to travel 3000+ blocks out away from my house.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. If this has been done, we can reopen the issue.

Keep in mind that the "Resolved"-Status on this ticket just means "Answered", and that we are waiting for further information on whether this issue still exists or not. We will reopen it as soon as the requested information has been delivered.

That's normal. Almost all animals spawn when the terrain is first explored, requiring you to find unexplored territory to find new animals. New animal spawns are at a rate of about one spawn every few real-world days (although that "one" might be a pack of 5).
