Endermite don't spawn when Enderman teleport

I have no clue if this is intended or already reported, but it seems like Enderman won't cause Endermite to spawn when they teleport.

14w34d still not a single spawn.. Teleporting,killing does not effect enything,can't get any Endermite 😞

Still doesn't spawn them in Minecraft 1.8
