Bedrock at Y0 has wood log in it at x0 y0 z0.

Decided to plant a tardis interior underground at the origin. Was surprised to see a log in the bedrock at x0 y0 z0. Tried with a newly created world and it was there too. Doesn't seem to be there in maps from 14w27. I used "Log at 0 0 0" as the seed the second time.

Confirmed for 14w28b
really strange

Can confirm, but only by using the seed. Cannot confirm with regular world.

The first seed was just "14w28b". It had one too.

After many days building a TARDIS interior in the Y1-Y30 area I suddenly find the log is back. I've made the spot at x0 y0 z0 an intentional hole to the void on my map (lava from 4 sources stop at the edge, giving it a "hole in a star" look, and a particle command fires a "laser" into the void, simulating timey-whimey stuff). I had looked down the shaft 5 minutes earlier and the hole to the void was open, so I know the log reappeared sometime after that. Flew down and broke the log before it occured to me that you might want a picture. Will try to get one if it appears again.

Perhaps the coordinates are lost entirely, and NaN/null is being read as zero.

It is with great sadness that I inform you all that the log is gone. RIP loggy 😞

Well, good thing its gone! 🙂

The church of the log is dissolved? This is a Holy Skycake conspiracy, isn't it? 🙂

Maybe it was a (un)intentional easter egg?
