MCPE - Kindle Fire 2nd generation (Android 4.0.3) multiplayer won't share a session

Recap of a previous issue:

Using 4 Kindle Fires with same version of pocket edition on same wireless network (2 different networks tested). Two of the Kindles were original Fires, the other two are second generation hardware purchased recently. The 2nd gen Fires don't seem to share their session so that it is visible to join - the old ones can't see a world opened for LAN and the other 2nd gen can't see it either. However, the 2nd gen devices can see and join a world shared from the original Kindles.

I just downloaded 0.9.1 and I still have the problem.
