Creative mode - Ladders/Iron Bars/Glass Panes cause all other blocks to become Un-Render

While in creative mode, if one attempts to put an block like ladders, Iron bars, glass panes (including stained glass), etc., causes entire world (except chest, enchantment tables, entities, mobs, etc.) to become un-rendered.

Steps of problem:
1. Open creative inventory
2. Pick an item (such as ladders or iron bars) from creative inventory
3. Place Item in Hot Bar at bottom of inventory (NOTE: It may be with 2nd and/or 3rd Inventory spot. Event occured when attempting to place block in either slot)

Bug should happen immediately after doing so.
