[MC-62238] Piston not transitioning between on and off

Normally in Minecraft when you activate a piston it extends smoothly. However now when you activate the piston it doesn't have this effect. It just suddenly extends without a transition,

Confirmed for 14w29b. There is a transition but the extension and block being pushed becomes invisible. This seems to be a worse version of MC-58437 which was apparently fixed. Although this could also be a duplicate of other piston bugs that have been reported for 14w29b.
