I have seen this a couple of times now, thought I wanted to report it as a bug since I could not find similar issues. The stronghold is not generated, but there is pockets of air in the ocean where it should be. See attachment.

I went in the ground under the air pockets and there was a mineshaft. Come to think of it, the same was the case the other time I saw this. Maybe the generating of Strongholds glitches out because the mineshaft occupies the ground, just guessing lol
