Top half of double plants is missing.

On a world that I created in 14w26c (because my other one was corrupted), I discovered that double plants have the top part missing when I updated to 14w29b. I hope this does not mean that my world is corrupted........again. Here is a picture and I hope that I can get an explanation about what is going on:
