I've had this issue since the update, whenever I get near a spider (or close enough to hear one) my game freezes. The closer they are, the faster the freeze/more frequent it is. Thankfully I mainly play on a server with friends, and can usually ask one of them to kill the spider so I can relog. Unfortunately when I'm playing alone this causes an issue, as I'm not able to play due to the freezing. I've looked through the previous reports, and tried fixing this issue by deleting my resources folder (incase of corrupted soundfile) but it didn't solve my issue. F2 + S didn't do anything, nor did F3 + C to try and force it to crash.

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report ([minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder]) here.

Apparently when it freezes, it is crashing it.

Maybe your assets are damaged: Stop Minecraft, delete .minecraft/assets/ and restart Minecraft.
