Ever since I downloaded 1.7.10 (not any of the snapshots) my primary world has been corrupted. It loads very slowly and when it finally enters the game the framerate becomes really inconsistent. It freezes then works then freezes every couple of seconds.
The main problem is that even if the world is slow and buggy, none of the progress I do saves. Even if I move around a bit and break some blocks, the next time I load the save I'm in the exact same spot with everything the way it was before I loaded the save last time. I also submitted a report about how the update made my chests/doors/other things to interact with not work.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game as well as trying the game in each of the last 10 updates.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. If this has been done, we can reopen the issue.
Keep in mind that the "Resolved"-Status on this ticket just means "Answered", and that we are waiting for further information on whether this issue still exists or not. We will reopen it as soon as the requested information has been delivered.

Have you tried creating a new world to determine weather it is your save that has become corrupted or the game that has corrupted?
