I just noticed this today. Had a furnace "disappear" and clip the inside of my cave so that the trees outside were visible. It happened when the furnace was off in my "peripheral" vision - nearly off screen.

Yeah, basically the same, only on the edge of the screen. Really weird, as well as that when in F5 (looking at face) the blocks/chunks behind me are not there. Try it and tell me!

Yes, the issue was originally about both side chunks and F5, and has been split.
The F5 issue is located at MC-63070.
