[MC-64282] Realms: Error 401: Invalid session ID

i opened minecraft online and cliked minecraft realms and the screen said
"an error occurred (401): invalid session id. i dont think it might have anything to do with it but i do have a texture pack on.

Now it says that the client is outdated, but I'm in 1.7.10, can realms be in a snapshot???

Also, I did relog into the launcher, I don't think I have a premium account, but I've been on the realm plenty of times in the past, and I've been seeing that you need one to log into it. Has this been a recent change to realms???
