[MC-64668] Stairs & walls

if I'm too close to a wall next to stairs while I'm ascending I get caught on the blocks in the wall. I have to move away from the wall to continue up the stairs

Facing into the wall at a diagonal I'm unable to move up the stairs
if I jump I will go up one stair block then get stuck on the next one up
When I read MC-61245 it doesn't sound like this

Same here. While climbing stairs, if I rub the wall, I will get stuck. Ascending stairs heading south(in case this matters), have not tried other orientations.
