Beacon isn't working in snapshot.

I built a beacon and while the beam is shining, it wont take any item and wont activate any power. It does this in both my survival and creative world that are both on the 14w31a snapshot...the beacon worked before, but i had to break it and move it, and now it wont activate any powers.
