Opening chest animation sometimes shows an open lid and a closed lid when the chest is "open"

I expected the chest to appear open during the closing lid sequence.

What actually happened was the lid that was open closed onto another lid that was already shut on the chest.

Steps to Reproduce
1. Right click on a chest to open it
2. Press "E" or "esc" to close the chest
3. The open lid of the chest is shown closing onto another chest lid
