[MC-65159] render bug

I'm not sure what kind of bug or glitch this is but when I have my render distance above 10 on snapshots 14w30a-c and 14w31a but if I have my VBOs off it some how creates this massive bug with the render where all you see if one chunk that is copied everywhere but you still are walking on the actual chunks!
Would you happen to know what this bug is called or what may had caused this!

I have the same problem, and that doesn't help me to continue the huge map I'm working in for 3 years (far far ago...)
