Beacons to not give effects nor accept payments

The beam displays as normal, I can use the new color features, but cannot use the effects from the beacon. It will not accept the payment either, iron, diamond, emerald, and gold. No one seems to have addressed this issue in the previous snapshot but i assumed with the new beacon features it would have been noticed.
