Glitchy terrain on increased render distances

Bug also affects versions 14w31a, and other snapshots. When render distance is set above 16, and occasionally at 16 or below, some chunks will begin to flicker randomly between various terrains, At any given moment the chunks affected will all be displaying the same random terrain, repeated horizontally and vertically. The terrain shown can vary from random biomes, to underground caves, or glitchy pits to the void. If walked on, the walkable blocks in the chunks seem to be the regular terrain, although the blocks being walked on are usually invisible or covered by the random terrain being shown.
