So, I was playing on a server for 14w33c with a large biomes world (seed -5979269375298961007) and around (-387, 79, 905) a long strip of chunks started glitching out. This went away when I switched to render distance 10, but came back at render distance 11.
What happens is that the strip of chunks renders as the same chunk, which changes depending on where you are, and where you face.
The only idea I have on why this may have occurred is that the VBO has a problem in it.
I didn't get anything in my output log.
EDIT: I also had use VBOs off, and turning it on stopped the glitch. And my friend on a Mac couldn't replicate the glitch.

Dupe of MC-62958

No it's not the same bug Sonic unless its title is misleading. I can reproduce the bug by changing the render distance back and forth a lot until it glitches. And with VBO on and render distance <16.

That's exactly what MC-62958 describes.

It talks about VBO off and 16+ render distance...

Some of the duplicates of MC-62958 are reporting this with VBOs on and with render distance 10
