Idk if I'm wrong in something, but Alt + V pastes IP address of server (probably the one in Direct Connect) instead of @ for me.

Alt + V isn't supposed to type the @ afaik.
Maybe you're confusing it with Ctrl + V, which pastes whatever you copied on your clipboard.
