Sleeve layer incorrectly rendered in first person

When in first person, sections of the sleeve layer which are facing away from the camera (the end of the hand, the side next to the body, and the back of the arm) are not rendered.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Download this skin: http://i.imgur.com/LRmVBI5.png
2) Apply it to yourself at https://minecraft.net/profile
3) Start up the game and look at your arm in first and third person. In third person, the red border around your arm is clearly visible from the front, but in first person it is completely absent.

Don't get it.
Can you please mark in the screenshot what part is missing ?

I'm talking specifically about the end of the sleeve layer. Your skin doesn't have that area, Galaxy_2Alex. Uploaded screenshots with comments as well as a skin file you can use to verify (and a blown up version with comments).

That "cross" is below your hand, thus you cannot see this in first person.
Can also not reproduce, the "gloves" render well on my skin.

Ok, I made a more obvious example. Take the default skin and just add a big red square to that area only. Clearly visible (even from above) in third person, but in first person completely missing. Included skin file so you can try it yourself.

EDIT: That area is invisible in your "gloves" skin because the sides of the sleeve layer cover it, but in my skin the sides are mostly transparent (like in the steve skin which has no sleeve layer).

Ah. you mean the overlap of the outer layer should be visisble in first person!?

I mean that the end of the sleeve layer should be visible if it sticks out beyond the edge of the arm itself. If your sleeve layer is a solid rectangular prism you can't see it, but if parts are missing from the "sleeves" of your sleeve layer you can see it. In my skin, the stripe going down the side connects with the plus sign on the end, but the plus sign isn't rendered in first person, so there's a gap.

This may also apply to the other two "back" sides of the sleeve layer. I'll go test that.

It does also apply to the other "back" sides of the sleeve layer (the side next to the body and the back of the arm). They likewise would be seen if they stick out from behind the arm, but aren't rendered in first person.

I added steps to reproduce. It should be simple to try the skin I gave on and see for yourself.

Fixed for next version.
