3D items / missing blocks too big in third person mode

Still in 1.8pre3, according to MC-69885

EDIT: WAI because the damage value can only be "0"

Not the trouble to fix this bug is not, it enough just to change the display with third person with rotation, scale, etc ...,in format JSON. 😉

A similar issue was fixed recently. Is this still an issue in 15w45a? If so, please explain the issue in detail and provide steps to reproduce it. Please also update the list of affected versions.
