When going from 12 chunks to a higher setting in video settings view distorts

When going into video settings to increase the chunks map is stable up to selection 12. On going higher the view distorts, the greater the value the further out the distortion. a screenshot of the same from chunks = 12 and one from chunks = 14 are attached.
