Iron golems phaseing through blocks when hit

built a thing out of half slabs trying to design a skelly farm and decided to use iron golems to kill them but then when i spawned one it ignored the skeletons and phased through a wall when they shot it.... seems to me that they are broken in 2 ways , wont attack the skells and will phase through slabs
