When I press "<" (this works everywhere has not to be the chat), the game makes a screenshot, even the key for screenshot is set to F2 (this works by the way also).
Also when I select the "<" as key for the screenshots I can't take screenshots anymore (neither with "<" nor with F2)
I am using a German keyboard!

Do you guys use an AZERTY lay-out? Otherwise I could test it later.
The german keyboard layout is QWERTZ
Could you try and test this bug with changing the setting of your keyboard? (Language options in control panel)

I changed my keyboard layout to en_us and it did not take a screenshot. (It's the backward slash \ by the way)
In Game:
No (when you mean pressing SHIFT and ALT to change)
Before starting launcher:
Doesn't work, every time I start the launcher it changes back to the German keyboard
Double check if the keyboard settings don't change if you play minecraft.
Also, try the Belgium keyboard setting. I think it's something along the lines of be_nl?
That's Azerty, and when I looked at screenshots of the QWERTZ lay-out the "<" is at the same place.
