VBO Rendering Issue

I was just testing MC-1.8-pre2 and I decided to turn on VBOs to have max settings, then the world stopped rendering, I then proceeded to disable it, but when I did that the world started going crazy, then I turned it back on, the world stopped going crazy, but rendering was still an issue.
