I have a problem with my minecraft(bought and downloaded very recent) where I start a new world and everything would seem fine up until I destroyed a torch near a chest and everything disappeared except lava, water, chests, and mobs however the blocks were still there acting as barriers but still remained invisible. I tried it a second time destroyed a dirt block still happened quit and uninstalled and re installed minecraft destroyed a tree still happened but i can destroy grass and flowers.

Duplicate of MC-35881. This is a known issue with certain AMD graphics drivers. The solution is to turn off mipmapping in your video settings. If the issue persists, you may need to update your graphics drivers.

oh ok thanks it fixed my problem but being new to this I see now you guys have a lot more sites than I believed and it just confuses me.
