When you have name tags - shown for Enderman, they are not above their heads. Instead the name tags are inside them. This is probably due to the height (3 blocks)

This and MC-7302 are basically the "same bug", even though visual effect is sort of vice versa (too high vs. too low). The fix shown in 7302 will (or at least should) also correct this issue.
