Minecart with TNT explodes prematurely before derailing

Minecart with TNT explodes too early before actually get derailed. Attached is a setup I used to test it. To be precise, it explodes on the second last rail before derailing.

Works as intended. A TNT minecart will begin to detonate once it passes over an activator rail.

Wait, that is a powered rail, not an activator rail.

Oh, well in that case does this issue seem similar to MC-6803?

If you extend the normal rail by two, it will also detonate at the 2nd last rail, so I would say different.

I thought I was imagining this problem, actually. Thought it was caused by lag or some other problem. But I have noticed not only in my first hand experience, but videos from several other random people, the Minecarts with TNT seem to detonate right before the end of the track instead of at the end. They are either predicting the end of the track and detonating on that, or some code is bugged.

Since the behaviour of the Minecart with TNT has changed in 13w03a, this doesn't seem to be a problem now. May a mod please check and confirm this as fixed.
