Fullscreen Minecraft crashes in Windows 8.1 when something interupts it.

When playing in fullscreen on any version on my computer with Windows 8.1 64-bit, if something interrupts it (ex. Java Auto Updater), instead of exiting fullscreen and pausing itself, it crashes and brings up the launcher. My old computer with Windows Vista 32-bit never crashed like this, so I think it might just be Windows 8.1, though no other applications with fullscreen ever crash like this. After crashing the launcher says this:

I attached the error report file.

What I expected to happen was the game would exit fullscreen and pause.

What actually happened was the game crashed.

Steps to replicate:
Note: This usually happens by me accidentally pressing the Windows Help and Support key my new computer has, which is inconveniently placed where the F1 key usually is.

  1. Open Minecraft in Windows 8.1 64-bit.

  2. Put Minecraft in fullscreen.

  3. Press Windows Help and Support key.

Unconfirmed in 1.8-pre3
Environment:
Windows 8.1 64-bit, Java 1.8.0_11 64-bit

This type of java crash is occurring on the level of your graphics drivers. Either they need to be updated, or something is conflicting with them, causing the crash (eg custom windows themes, screen/game recording software, Evolve, etc.)

Ok. Gosh, you buy a brand new computer, and everything on it is already outdated.
