[MC-71162] 1.8 chunks problem (disco chunks)

When I update my Render Distance to 18 chunks or more, I get "disco-rendered" chunks. I can't really explain what happens but here is a gif to show you what happens:

I get this problem both on single player and multiplayer minecraft.
