Silverfish breaking blocks when "mobGriefing" is set to false

When silverfish crawl into a block and makes it a silverfish-block, it get's destroyed when the silverfish exits the block again, even if "mobGriefing" is set to false.
This is not wanted as it makes silverfish able to destroy adventuremaps, and thereby it becomes a mob that is not usable for map creators.

My suggestion is to turn the block into it's original ID when a silverfish leaves it when "mobGriefing" = false.

would be great to see this fixed

Man this NEEDS to be fixed. This ruins my whole game I'm making, because I spawn silverfish in a castle built with mainly stone, and stone bricka! REALLY needs to be fixed.

Yes, this needs to be fixed. I built an all stone brick mob fighting arena on a server, and one of the mobs you had to fight was silverfish...

Confirmed in 1.5.1.

I can confirm this bug in Minecraft 1.5.1, I attached some screenshots.

Not fixed in 1.6.2, thus reopened.

This is why the issue was reopened:

If a silverfish enters mossy stone brick, cracked stone brick or chiseled stone brick, it will change its texture to regular stone brick's.
Solution? Add 3 new "Monster Egg" blocks with the textures of those three blocks.

Silverfish breaking blocks was fixed.
