Glad it worked for you Roshan but I attempted changing my MTU on my PC and it did not work for me. Recently updated to version 1.12.124 and it seems some improvements have been made. I tried closing and reopening Minecraft about 30-40 times and found the game would almost always load my characters skin but would only allow me to connect to marketplace and work properly about 1 out of every 10 times. About 1 out of every 10 times closing Minecraft would freeze up my screen for about 10 seconds and one time I closed the game it stayed running in the background and the only way to close it was to end task it through task manager. Still getting errors D-0010 and D-0020 when failing to connect to marketplace. Was occasionally able to join servers like Hive and others. Could not test LAN play since my iPad is still running 1.12.123 and no update yet on the App Store.
Also noticed that occasionally launching or closing Minecraft freezes up my PC for about 5-10 seconds. Unsure if it’s related to this issue.
I just did a reinstall of Minecraft today. This time I unlinked my PC from my Microsoft Account, unlinked my PC from the Microsoft Store Devices page and logged out and back into the Microsoft Store before reinstalling Minecraft. I have removed the Xbox App, Minecraft Launcher and only reinstalled Minecraft Bedrock for Windows from the Microsoft Store. Everything worked the first and second time I launched the game, but sure enough the bug returned and I’m back to the same problem.
I am having this same problem on Windows but when I log in with the same account on my iPad it works fine every time. That leads me to believe the problem is specific to individual devices so it’ll probably take them forever to figure it out! It is very frustrating that I’m paying for services to be able to play with my niece and nephews and this issue has been ongoing for at least a month for me. That’s at least 1 month of services I’ve paid for for nothing.
Oops… I must have missed the show details button not realizing I had to click on it to see more. Sorry!
Does anyone know if this is being fixed any time soon?
Same, also on a 10p realm. One or multiple Ghasts have same effect, the closer to a Ghast the worse it gets. Moving the Ghasts a save 8 chunks away the lag in the village is gone. The lag is not instant, it builds up and get worse the longer you stay near. I tested by breaking 20 blocks in a row. With the ghast near I would walk right through the blocks as they are updating, the same with placing the blocks.
Downloading the world helps a little bit but still the same lag local on Bedrock on a last gen gaming PC but it would take longer for the lag to build up.
The Ghasts are leashed to a fence.
It looks similar to an old ticket MCPE-28244
The only way now is to use the /playsound command. It sucks so much, there should be an option or a server plugin or even a mod to fix this. I have multiple packs, with disc changing music and they are all broken now.
Actually, this is not a duplicate.
The initial bug report is from 2021 telling about the wrong file name, but the version was probably there.
My bug report tells that the version in the filename is missing. It is missing since a few weeks. So this bug was introduced a few weeks ago, and was not present in 2021.
I would prefer if it would be possible that the file name contains the version again (or if the version could be written somewhere at the download page), because I have a Nagios monitoring tool that checks if the Minecraft version is up-to-date, and I don't know where to get the latest version from. Thank you!
"Won't fix"
Ridiculous and shameful.
REALMS-10656 ticket merged to this one. It is not just per session. Changing from survival to creative, spend a while in creative, then switch back to survival also resets the gamerule back to default (True). In my case the doinsomnia gamerule
@PleaseFixThis I'm not saying old drivers won't run any other games, I'm saying I need all the new features and compatibility boosts the newest drivers offer for the most recent games. The fix is just not worth it for one game's sake for me.
All the games you listed were released before that driver was. 442.74 was released on March 19, 2020, so it is quite out of date for game released since then
@PleaseFixThis I can't justify rolling back to an ancient Nvidia driver for one game. If you only play Minecraft, then sure, but I use my 3080 for a lot more than that XD
Confirmed for 1.18.2.
happens in 1.18.1
I'd like to add that you don't need to be jumping, you can just be standing still on the trapdoors and the eggs still break
I was just able to test LAN play via my PS5. Same issue as before, only able to connect to friends game or servers the 1 out of every 10 times I’d load Minecraft and the game would run properly. Although if I’m in a world on my PC my PS5 logged into my nephews account was able to join it weather or not I could connect to marketplace. I still couldn’t join one of his worlds unless the game loaded properly.
