The online/multiplayer services have been down for over 4 months. I took my Xbox to another house, far from mine, which uses a different network (of course) and a different provider. There, the error stopped occurring during 1 game session, in this case the first time I logged in. After I closed it and reopened it, the bug returned. I did this twice in the space of two months. It doesn't make any sense to me. Not even changing houses, networks, providers, modems, cable or wireless can get the game working again. And yes, I've already tried every troubleshooting option available on every Microsoft/Xbox/Minecraft website, including completely resetting my Xbox, deleting all games, apps, and data. Several times. And to be clear, it only happens with Minecraft, and only on the Series X (cause i have the game on pc and cell, but I know that this bug occurs on all platforms).
And again describing the error:
The account won't log in
The Dressing Room won't load
The Realms tab won't load
The Marketplace won't load and displays the code D-0010 (now D-0020)
The worlds won't load (offline and online)
The servers won't load
The friends page won't load either
No matter how long I leave the game open to allow time for everything to load or how good my internet connection is

Yeahh I totally agree with you. The management and communication could be so much better, I've also been in the same situation you are for about 3-3 and a half months and tried to contact them through email. The response I got was to try the classic troubleshooting methods (which I had already done) and nothing. This is the only game ever in which I've wanted to play for months now and can't because of a bug that has still not been resolved. Absolutely ridiculous.
Thanks Cody, that’s it
If you manage to fix this bug, please send it to me on Discord: Kauefoda3161

This will never be solved at this rate 😒
I am having this same problem on Windows but when I log in with the same account on my iPad it works fine every time. That leads me to believe the problem is specific to individual devices so it’ll probably take them forever to figure it out! It is very frustrating that I’m paying for services to be able to play with my niece and nephews and this issue has been ongoing for at least a month for me. That’s at least 1 month of services I’ve paid for for nothing.
I hate this bug so much i just want to play with my friends
Matt, same here man. I've been wanting to do so for 3 months!
Mojang is messing with us.
Please only comment if you have new information or a workaround to share.
Every time OcelotOnesie comments, it seems like the devs don't know how to solve this, but I don't think that's the case. In fact, the last report of this bug wasn't resolved; they closed it just because it changed its name from D-0010 to D-0020.
Anyway, here's exactly how it's happening, even with the fastest wired internet connection. Yes, it works with the personal hotspot, only in that way. But nobody is obligated to waste that data when they have home internet, because one is limited and the other isn't. Especially when it's just for 1 problematic game. I'd like to be playing, but it hasn't been possible for 5 months.
I just did a reinstall of Minecraft today. This time I unlinked my PC from my Microsoft Account, unlinked my PC from the Microsoft Store Devices page and logged out and back into the Microsoft Store before reinstalling Minecraft. I have removed the Xbox App, Minecraft Launcher and only reinstalled Minecraft Bedrock for Windows from the Microsoft Store. Everything worked the first and second time I launched the game, but sure enough the bug returned and I’m back to the same problem.
Also noticed that occasionally launching or closing Minecraft freezes up my PC for about 5-10 seconds. Unsure if it’s related to this issue.
When I use my cellphone's mobile hotspot to connect my Xbox One to the internet, I can successfully access Minecraft Online Services, such as the Marketplace and Realms. However, my mobile data plan is severely limited.
I have been dealing with this frustrating connectivity issue for several months. It has been particularly disheartening because my young son attends full-time school, and we usually play Minecraft together on weekends—him on the Xbox One, and me on an Android phone. Since this bug began, it has been extremely frustrating trying to play with him.
I have spent days in contact with both Mojang and Microsoft support, yet the issue remains unresolved. I also attempted to contact my internet service provider (VIVO FIBER). I suspect they did not fully grasp the problem; they claimed to have handled some internal adjustments remotely and asked me to test the connection, but this was unsuccessful.
We are still struggling with this situation, and I am seeking a permanent solution so my son and I can play together again.
what fixed it for me was changing MTU to 1450 instead of 1500 in my PS5 settings
1475 also works
Glad it worked for you Roshan but I attempted changing my MTU on my PC and it did not work for me. Recently updated to version 1.12.124 and it seems some improvements have been made. I tried closing and reopening Minecraft about 30-40 times and found the game would almost always load my characters skin but would only allow me to connect to marketplace and work properly about 1 out of every 10 times. About 1 out of every 10 times closing Minecraft would freeze up my screen for about 10 seconds and one time I closed the game it stayed running in the background and the only way to close it was to end task it through task manager. Still getting errors D-0010 and D-0020 when failing to connect to marketplace. Was occasionally able to join servers like Hive and others. Could not test LAN play since my iPad is still running 1.12.123 and no update yet on the App Store.
I was just able to test LAN play via my PS5. Same issue as before, only able to connect to friends game or servers the 1 out of every 10 times I’d load Minecraft and the game would run properly. Although if I’m in a world on my PC my PS5 logged into my nephews account was able to join it weather or not I could connect to marketplace. I still couldn’t join one of his worlds unless the game loaded properly.
The Xbox doesn't allow changing the MTU in the settings; to change it, you have to do it through the provider's (VIVO) control panel, but their modem's control panel doesn't have that option either. Here, I'm still experiencing all the errors initially listed (already at 1.21.124). Mojang, fix bedrock.
Try changing the dns to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 and optionally MTU if possible, what brand router do you have specifically? Like the model number etc.
I managed to change it, but it didn't solve the problem either 😢 but thanks anyway. Mojang, speed up that resolution
Updated to 1.21.130. Problem still persists. I’m able to get it to work at least once if I close and reopen the game about 10 times still.
Still persists
Update: The error has been happening in exactly the same way since June, nothing has changed (even on different versions, devices, internet, providers, homes, and regions).
In June, when I realized that I couldn't fix it (because it's a game error), I thought that it would be resolved shortly since it's a bug that literally prevents access to everything I paid for and from playing with friends. If it were a simple bug that didn't affect things this way, it wouldn't be a problem; we always deal with bugs, but this one doesn't allow that.
Update for me, I deleted mc and reinstalled a day later, still there. Also now the game even crashes! GG.
Idk if its been said already but the only workaround I've found is sharing my WiFi through my hotspot with the console.
Changing the MTU also fixed it for me. (;
Why use hotspot when u got unlimited wifi with a better ping
Update: After software updates to the console and my network, nothing has changed.
Region: Brazil
We can't even show the slightest dissatisfaction here in the report because they quickly delete it, as we are not providing "useful information for resolution," even though we are also not receiving any useful information from this support team.
Just reinstalled on my 8 year old Win10 PC and everything works fine connected to the same network. My old Win10 PC, PS5, iPad and iPhone all work properly but my newer Win11 PC still doesn’t work unless I close and reopen the game multiple times. Both PC’s are connected via direct ethernet cable connection and the issue persists if I unplug and connect via WiFi. Only way to get it to work every time is to connect my newer Win11 PC to my cell phone WiFi Hotspot.
I did a reinstall on my Win11 PC the other day and noticed it would never connect when I loaded the game. I decided to uninstall all Minecraft related apps (Minecraft Launcher, Xbox App and Minecraft Java) except for Minecraft Bedrock and restarted my PC. Now I’m back to the point I was at before where I’d start the game and it would load everything properly approximately 1 in every 10 attempts. Still getting the occasional 10sec game freeze when opening or closing the game and every once and a while when I close the game it stays running in the background with the music still on and I need to End Task via Task Manger. Unsure if this is any help for console users though.
I am experiencing this issue on PS5 only.
This problem already happened to me once in the past. Back then, it fixed itself after some time and worked again for about 1–2 months, but then the same error returned and has not worked since.
While the issue already existed, I was still able to join local LAN/Wi-Fi worlds for several months, but later even that stopped working. Now no online features work at all on PS5:
no servers
no marketplace
no friends
no LAN worlds
On the same network, Minecraft works normally on Nintendo Switch and on my phone. Only PS5 is affected.
I tried reinstalling the game, clearing cache, rebuilding database, different accounts, and different networks (mobile hotspot also), but nothing fixed it.
I have been experiencing the same problem for a long time in Minecraft. I cannot access the Marketplace or Realms, and it is also not possible to invite friends to my world or play in their worlds. I have already carried out all the technical procedures requested by support, such as resetting the network settings, manually configuring the IP and DNS (1.1.1.1 and 9.9.9.9), checking that the NAT is open, formatting the console, reinstalling the game, and confirming that the Xbox system is up to date. Even so, the error persists exclusively when the console is connected to Wi-Fi. Other devices, such as a cellphone and a notebook, work normally on the same network. Support has not been able to resolve the issue so far.
Today's update: it's still not working
I am affected on PlayStation 4 as well.
Marketplace error D-0020 occurs after Microsoft account linking,
and “My Library” loads indefinitely.
Confirming this still happens on Xbox.
Issue persists across different networks and accounts.
No workaround works so far.
Im almost sure it has to do with 1.21.132 new version. I can't open marketplace on ps4, so i tried on MCPE and managed to do so. Then i found out that my MCPE wasn’t on that version, i updated it, and i could no longer open neither marketplace nor online servers.
Oh guys sorry, i haven't seen before commenting that this issue has been happening for so long. It's been a long time since i last played and only comeback last week. I also deactivated auto app's updates on my cellphone, so that explains why it worked on MCPE, it was probably a bit old version when marketplace still used to work.
Updates: if you use your mobile data the issue is gone. I finally could buy a shaders i wanted to. This ain't a definitive solution, but it is enough for you at least enter your friend’s world. I think the only way to solve this is contacting our network providers and find out what blocks minecraft to work.
I tried it with mobile data and it still didnt work.
I have the same issue on PS5.
I completely agree with Jivago Medeiros, VIVO can't solve a problem that's inherent to the game; it's the devs' responsibility. One needs a lot of patience with this company...
7 months and counting
Updated to V26.0 today. Got worse, had to close and reload the game for 15min (probably 20-30 tries) before re-launching the game finally worked. At least before it would load properly within the first 10 tries.
Hi everyone, I managed to find a possible solution:
I noticed that when I connected the Xbox using smartphone tethering, the network settings on the Xbox showed only IPv4 (no IPv6). After a quick search, I found that Vivo Fibra (my ISP in Brazil) has a known issue related to IPv6 routing.
So basically, I disabled IPv6 on my network, and the Minecraft online services on Xbox started working again.
There are a few important details: the firmware on the modems provided by Vivo is customized and hides many configuration options, including the option to disable IPv6. In my specific case, I set the ISP modem to bridge mode and used another device to handle the PPPoE connection and routing. After that, I disabled IPv6 on my own router, and everything worked properly.
Thank you Jivago! I disabled IPv6 on my router and it “seems” to be working now on my PC. Only tried loading the game 3 times but so far it has worked every time. Fingers crossed! I’m up in Canada on Rogers/Shaw and have my actual modem in bridge mode to run my Eero router and extender. I left the modem alone and just turned of IPv6 in my Eero router settings. Hope this leads to a solution Mojang can fix.
Jivago, consegue passar as instruções passo a passo do que você fez no painel VIVO?
Alternatively for PC users anyways, you don’t need to disable IPv6 on your router. I did some testing and just disabled it in Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings > Right-click your active connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet), select Properties, and uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6). I don’t think there is a way to specifically disable it on Xbox or PlayStation though so you’d probably have to do it on your router.
Beleza, obrigado
Update: Disable IPv6, this solves the problem.
A solution from MOJANG is still needed, but based on the last few months, it's not worth waiting. If you can't solve it yourself, call a technician from your internet provider.
Solution credits to @Jivago Medeiros
When will this get fixed? Sorry.
The problem is I am dealing with this since may 5th 2025 since this has randomly happened. I tried everything, looking and checking my internet connection, signing out and in, yet still cannot access the store. Even deleting it may solve the problem, but nope, still doesn’t work. And it ALWAYS has to be bedrock edition. I'm in ps5 btw. Fix your servers, mojang!!
Its almost 6 months, and this bug doesn't fix
Now I'm experiencing the same problem except every menu I open I get an endless loading screen.
They fixed the Azure problem, everyone's Minecraft went back to normal, but here it's still the same, with the same error.
I can't access the in-game content I paid for, anything from the marketplace, or Realms, even with the best licensed hardware (Series X) and the most expensive game service (Game Pass Ultimate).
The support for a single bug in a single game is extremely unsatisfactory. I'm unfamiliar with Mojang's standards, but I believe this type of bug should be fixed much faster than it is being (because it directly affects the consumer's wallet). We pay a lot for this kind of thing.
Brazilian consumer protection laws protect us when a service isn't provided as it should be, and here I see no fault on my part or on the part of any of the other players with the same problem. It's a company error that has been occurring for quite some time, and no expectation of resolution has been given. There are thousands of bugs in all games, including Minecraft, of course, but this type of bug makes it impossible to access too many features. Without any plausible response or update, all that remains is to contact the consumer protection agency (PROCON) and have a lot more patience...
