MCPE - flowing water doesn't push drops

I dumped water on crops with a bucket and expected the water to push the drops to the edge of the water stream.

Drops are not being pushed by water, they do not move no matter how long you wait.

Seems to effect all drops, tried crops, blocks, mob drops.
Seems to effect both creative and survival modes.

To recreate this issue, dump water on planed crops or throw inventory items into a water stream.
