[MC-71975] the game crashes as soon as it starts up

when i open the game it says it crashed

i need to know how to change the texture pack without entering the game

Go to your start menu. In search, type %appdata% and press enter. Click Roaming, or if it automatically enters it, click .minecraft. Click resourcepacks, be sure not to confuse it between resources. Make sure Minecraft is closed while doing this, and delete the resource pack when you open the resource pack folder. This folder takes you to the same one that opens in game when you insert a resource pack. Judging by your need to delete your resource pack without entering the game, I'm assuming your saying that it crashes because of the resource pack, that's why I said delete it. If not, then there is no way to change a resource pack out side of the game.
