Strange behavior when attempt to stack wooden doors…

Sorry for my funny english, i'm french and i don't speak very well…

With 32 wooden planks, I make doors, and offers well established 3 doors in series of six wooden planks.

32 / 6 * 3 = 16 doors

I have a free place in my inventory (just one !), and i validate by Shift + Clik…

The new 16 wooden doors are now in my inventory and they are stacked.

Now, i open a chest and all the stacked-doors are immediately unstacked and moved on, one by one on a free cell, but, only 7 doors survive, the 9 other just… disappear (well, if you understand this !).

Unable to stack the doors manually, the behavior is absolutely inconsistent and very random…

I have attempted to reproduce by the following method in single player survival. Please advise me if I misunderstood the process you used. I was UNABLE TO REPRODUCE using this method. My point of confusion right now is the math. 32 / 6 * 3 is indeed 16 but 32 / 6 BEFORE multiplying is 5.3333333. Since it cannot create a door using non-integers, it rounds it down and creates 15 doors. Please correct me where I've misunderstood. Thank you!

1) Obtain a stack of 32 Spruce Wood Planks and put it in your inventory.
2) Fill all remaining free inventory slots with items such that you have no free spaces.
3) Open the Crafting Table GUI, click and hold while dragging the 32 Spruce Wood Planks across the two left-most columns of the Crafting Table GUI squares. A preview of the door with the number "3" appears to the right and the icon of the remaining 2 wooden planks not used in door creation attaches to the mouse cursor.
4) Now that only one space in your inventory is free (from removing the 32 wood planks), Shift+Click the preview of the created doors to move them to the free space in the inventory.
5) Observe that 15 "Spruce Doors" appear in the last free inventory slot.
6) Press "Escape" to exit the Crafting Table GUI and observe the remaining two wooden planks are thrown to the floor.
7) Open a chest that has free space in it. Observe that the 15 doors are still in the inventory and nothing has changed in the empty chest.

Cannot reproduce either.
Please refine the steps to reproduce.
Please provide screenshots.

Sorry,

I'm a little surprised, first I am a little mistaken in the numbers, and I can not reproduce this morning…

I do not usually cry wolf for no reason…

Precision for calcul (correction) : 32 wooden planks / (6 planks by series of 3 doors) = 5 (two remaining) and the result is 15 doors… huh, tiredness certainly.

In a new world especially created for the test… it's ok now, huh !

But the two world are just few hours of difference and are generated by the same executable… hm !

Close the subject, if i see the problem in the futur, i reopen this.

Verry confused for this false alert…
