Duplicate of MC-14051. You will be likely unable to play versions of minecraft more recent than 1.7.2.

Unfortunately I have a D620 with the integrated Intel GMA 950, but I went to the Intel site and found a newer driver when I searched GMA 950. Was able to download and the system is running Minecraft 1.8. Just posting this in case anyone else was having the same issue.
