[MC-72750] Minecraft Furnace problem

minecart with furnace wont push me and itself down the track. Powered rails might be part of the problem, but on normal rails starting from the stone wall the minecart furnace just sits while burning coal.

I don't know know where the screenshots are stored and the search option in the start menu can't locate it.

What I figure out for now is that I can't get the minecart furnace to push me from a start point, but it will pull when i link the carts together.
another thing when I do get the minecart furnace working in the middle of the track and linked to the regular minecart, I can get it to pull me, but second problem is that the two carts separates at any turn in the track. Why does that happen?

You're feeding the coal from the opposite / wrong direction into the minecart. It will always drive away from you in the moment you place the coal, and never towards you - regardless if the path of the minecart is blocked.

when the minecart furnace is pulling other minecarts, does it always disconnect at any turn in the track?

IDK if the pulling of Minecarts is a feature or some kind of unwanted side effect...
