Create New World
World Type: Customized
Change Biome from "All" to "Deep Ocean"
Click "Presets"
Click "Use Preset"
When I followed these steps it would change the biome from "Deep Ocean" to "Cold Beach". The same happens if I create a preset

Dupe of MC-54484.
Confirmed. This occurs randomly with all biomes (select any biome in the middle of the slider, click "Presets then "Use Presets" and the biome should change). No other settings seem to be affected.
