[MC-73503] Breaking animation not shown when mining a block underneath with a sword

If you are standing on top of any solid block, and try to mine it will a sword, the breaking animation will not be shown and the block will break after the necessary amount of time.

Okay, heres how I did it exactly, was on a block of polished diorite, started punching it with a sword, no breaking animation, then tried with snow block, same thing, even a crafting table

make sure you didn't punch the block with a pickaxe or fist first
