i got the new update and wanted all the new cool things you were working on, so i made a new world and it was great! loved all the new stuff was really cool but then i tried to create a wooden fence and it wouldnt let me, i thoought maybe its just a bug with the world so i deleted it made a new one and same problem i even found fence destroyed it placed it and still nothing, the new doors that can be made works fine just i cannot craft fenceing which is a bummer. there could be other things i cant make but im such a novice i dont know all the cool things i can make. i mostly play for fun anyways and it doesnt affect my gameplay much so just thought id let you know. ps. great game keep it up.

A) your Java is horribly out of date and no longer supported by Minecraft. For any issues you will need to be on the latest Java 7 or Java 8.
B) the fences can be crafted fine but you need to take into account the crafting recipe was re-done in 1.8, see the wiki for more details http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Fence#Crafting
