Can use Setblock in demo after expire

When I turned on cheats after demo expired (Open to lan -> Allow Cheats: On) I tryed to do /setblock, from curiosity and it worked.

What I expected to happen was...:
Some kind of blocking the command

What actually happened was...:
I placed a stone after demo expired.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get a demo account
2. Let the demo expire
3. Turn on cheats (Open to lan -> Allow Cheats: On)
4. Do /setblock ~ ~ ~ stone
5. It's placed even when it's not supposed to.

Please note, I'm in creative mode, I did /gamemode c before
