controls and resource pack screens partially hidden with a 4:3 aspect ratio

See screenshots for an example.

Can be reproduced easily on any monitor by going into windowed mode and making the screen a little less wide.

The effect is only seen in a certain range of aspect ratios.
Once you go into a more square-like shape, however, everything becomes smaller to fit the screen.

Probably because size is caclulated by the size of the two buttons at the bottom instead of the widest component (the scrollable area).

The contents of the scrollable area is also a little off-center on the controls screen. It could be moved a little more to the right (to center it). There is no need for a margin to the right of the scroll bar.

Unfixable. MC-7707

Unfixable? I beg to differ.

My window is not tiny as in MC-7707.

There is plenty of room to display everything and it used to be displayed correctly in previous minecraft versions. (not sure when it stopped working. I haven't played in a while)

Have you selected "GUI-Size: Automatic"?
If so, the window should have the right size... :o

Yes, GUI size is set to automatic

Please force a debug crash by holding F3+C for 10 or more seconds and attach the crash report here.

@Sonicwave
I don't see why that would be necessary.

All information the devs need has been provided.

Still, please attach it.

First of all, you can't do a debug crash when you're in a menu.

And second, as I said before, everything needed has been provided.
I could provide thread or heap dumps, but none of that is of any use here.

This issue was already reported, but cannot find the older ticket.

You're right. After a few more searches, I found MC-37839.
I'll add my findings to that issue. This one can be closed.
