Some worlds lose all tile entity data when changing versions

When I upgraded to Minecraft 1.8, all my worlds seemed fine. However, after some time, I noticed that one of my worlds had deleted all the items in *_+everything*_+. Even the signs had lost their data. Even when I went back to 1.7.10, there was still no data in *_+anything+. Please help me!*_
